As we move into the next century, we have started to recognize the need for a more sustainable planet. Providence has the ability to become a great sustainable city. To accomplish the goal of a sustainable city, Providence needs to take a holistic approach towards its transportation infrastructure. Biking needs to become an integral part of the overall system. Bike sharing is an excellent opportunity for providing alternative transportation. Could Providence support a bike share program?
